Durwin S. Talon and E. Guin Thompson are Michigan-based illustrators, comic book creators, designers, and educators. In partnership, they have produced work for Archaia/Boom! Comics, DC Comics, Oni Press, Image Comics, and White Wolf Publishing. Collectively, they have written books on sequential art and comic book storytelling for TwoMorrows Publishing and Dark Horse Comics.
They are currently working on young adult historical and fantasy graphic novels, colourful zines, and are most known for their graphic novel "Beautiful Scars,” published by Archaia/Boom! Comics.
Together, they helm the illustration program at Grand Valley State University. They travel the world giving presentations with topics ranging from the history of illustration and comics, women in illustration, inclusion in image making, and the art of comic book illustration.
